Scheme Manager

Tim attended the Hutchins School in Hobart, graduating in 1982 and returning to the family farm 'Belmont' on the East Coast.

He continued his studies, gaining an Associate Diploma in Farm Management at Orange Agriculture College and then running the family farming enterprise until it was sold in 1992.

Tim transitioned his career into the automotive industry where he worked across a number of roles including sales and management including a number of senior management positions.

Tim started with CLIS in 2017 and has actively driven a range of infrastructure projects, streamlined reporting and improved efficiencies across the scheme.  

Tim is your main point of contact for any scheme related questions or issues.

Lauchlan Cole - Chair

Mr Lauchlan Cole is involved in the family beef, sheep and cropping operation at Woodbourn, Cressy. He has an Advanced Diploma of Farm Business Management from Marcus Oldham College, Geelong and was student president. Originally from a grazing property in Victoria, Lauchie has spent many years involved in both the farming and agribusiness recruitment industry, in various locations throughout Australia.

Robert Bradley - Secretary

Mr Bradley is a partner in a family farming business based at Longford. He has a Bachelor of Business in Agricultural Commerce from the University of New England (Orange). Originally from a dry land and irrigation farm at Gunnedah in Northern NSW.

He has spent several years in the cotton industry before moving to Tasmania. He is currently a director of Toosey Ltd and former chair and director of Southern Farming Systems. Rob was awarded a Nuffield Scholarship in 2008.

Mr Skirving is a partner in a family farming business based at Cressy. He has an Advanced Diploma in Farm Management from the University of Sydney (Orange). After returning from Agricultural College, he became an active member of Tasmanian Rural Youth and was state president in 2001. He is also a past director of Southern Farming Systems.

Mr Lindsay completed his studies up to Grade 12 at Launceston Church Grammar. He is currently a Partner in the family farm which produces mixed cropping and dairy, located on Armstrongs Lane. He is a board member of Poppy Growers Tasmania since 2011.

Jason Howard

Jason grew up on the family farm 'Hyde Park' attending Cressy District High School and later Launceston College. After gaining an associate Diploma in Graphic Design he forged a career in Design, Media and Marketing.

He has held numerous creative and management roles locally, in the UK and more recently Melbourne where he was Creative Services Manager for News Corp's Victorian operations.

Returning to Tasmania in 2017, Jason launched his own Design, Media and Marketing practice, Clever Creative, and works with numerous local and national clients across a broad range of marketing channels.

He lives at 'Bronte' on the outskirts of Cressy where he runs a small fat lamb and cropping operation and is also co-owner of lifestyle store and cafe, 'Acreage' located in the Kingsway Launceston.

Dr. Corey Hogarth

Dr Hogarth is the third generation to run family property “Sunny Slopes” on Green Rises Rd, Cressy with wife Michelle. Spent 12 months in Denmark as a Rotary Exchange Student, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Longford, before graduating from the University of Tasmania with First Class Honours in Agricultural Science, went on to complete a PhD in Agriculture with a thesis that investigated hybrid canola seed production. Held a Post-Doctoral position at the University of Central Queensland looking at navy bean physiology in Central Queensland and the Atherton Tablelands before returning to Tasmania to work with the Department of Primary Industry Water and Environment in a GRDC funded position in cereal grain extension. Began working with TP Jones in 2006 and established the Agronomy Services Division. Currently the Agronomy & Crop Production Manager based at Youngtown.
